Expansion Programme
For us future growth is synonymous with cost reduction, increased productivity and offering customers a range of value-added, high quality products and services. We have embarked on a long-term expansion-cum-modernization programme that will enhance our reputation as first among equals in the steel industry.

Consolidation of our premier position in the alloy and stainless steel market is undoubtedly the top priority for us. Plans have been finalized to raise the present level of production capability of single piece steel castings from 45 tons to 60 tons.

The casting and fettling bays are being increased by an additional 900 sq.m. This will enhance our existing casting facilities enormously.

The setting up of a new facility for the rolling of stainless and alloy steel rounds, flats, round cornered squares and angles has already been started. Apart from the electrical and control equipment, most of the equipment are being manufactured in-house, for which the infrastructure already exists.
