Our group hasn't shirked its social responsibility. Besides running a free medical dispensary-cum-clinic, we have launched an extensive immunization programme for poor children.

The production of steel is associated with environmental pollution. This myth can be broken by adopting environmental friendly project. Environmental concern has always been on the top of our agenda. To ensure a pollution free environment, sophisticated pollution control equipment have been installed on all the Arc Furnace and A.O.D. Converters.
The Emission to the atmosphere from our melting equipment not only meet minimum specified values as per Pollution Control Board's norms but surpass them. The National Productivity Council who were the consultants for installation of the Pollution Control Equipment on the Arc Furnace claim that they have provided us the best available technology and equipment.
At Rathi Steel, we are proud of contributing to environmental protection. We have come a long way, certainly in reductions of waste and emissions, but also in recognizing the impact of our operations on global issues such as climate change.
